Lindsey and Matt's Hocking Hills State Park elopement could not have been more gorgeous! The beautiful scenery of lush tree-lined gorges, seasonal waterfalls cascading, and trails leading to the iconic Ash Cave made for the perfect backdrop for their intimate summer ceremony.
Thank you to my associate photographer, Tabitha, who was able to capture Lindsey and Matt's special day.
Tabitha said that Lindsey and Matt's day was filled with laughter and incorporated so many special moments with their closest friends and family, including their dog, Jocko! Lindsey gifted her dad a custom tie with a photo of them sewn into it, and she and her sisters were able to show off their matching sister tattoos. Matt shared about his excitement to finally wear the diamond wedding ring he selected and see his beautiful bride.
After their ceremony, Lindsey and Matt dipped their toes into the water and explored a bit of the park along the trail. Before heading back to get ready for their reception. Once Lindsey changed into her beautiful reception dress, she and Matt joined their family and friends for dinner, desserts, and dancing at Cedar Grove. Lindsey received a jean jacket her friends made for her that showcased her new last name. It was the perfect compliment to her second dress as the gentle evening breeze swept through while they were adventuring through the fields at sunset.
Lindsey and Matt decided to adjust their wedding plans when they found out they are expecting twin girls! Lindsey said they both believe their day turned out even better than their original plans and knowing their girls were a part of it made it even more meaningful and special.
