This small elopement at Holly Hotel surrounded by their closest friends and family was the perfect way for Anne and Sean to say I do.
When I met Anne for coffee at Dessert Oasis in Downtown Royal Oak before their wedding I knew it was going to be an amazing day! She seemed truly happy, laid back, and positive! And she was the exact same way when she said forever and always!
It was a beautiful summer afternoon in Holly, Michigan. They had their first look in front of the hotel in Battle Alley, one of the most historic streets in Michigan. It may have been once known for its frequent fights, but it was the most picturesque place with quaint shops and vintage stores.
While Anne and Sean were twirling in the streets, a couple came up to them to give them the sweetest advice and it melted my heart. The wife pulled her husband away, but I could have listened to his heartfelt words all day.
However, there were even more heartfelt words to be shared. Their ceremony, held inside Holly Hotel, was absolutely beautiful as two families became one in an intimate setting. The gorgeous golden afternoon light poured in and fill the room with warmth. Sean's son stood by his side as his best man and Anne's sister was the maid of honor, both witnessing a special moment for their loved ones.
Following their beautiful ceremony, the family enjoyed a meal together with lots of laughs and camaraderie. When I left they were all joyous and laughing and my heart was full.
For those of who you may be interested in eloping in Michigan, Holly Hotel is a spectacular choice. Holly Hotel created the floral arrangements that were grown in Holly Township. And they baked a delicious looking cake! The officiant at Holly Hotel, Nichole, was extremely kind and well spoken! I would highly recommend! Seriously, if you're looking for a beautiful, vintage location to say I do without the stress of planning all the little details, this place is perfect!
