SENIOR STYLE - STONY CREEK

It's not often that I photograph senior portraits, but when I do, it is a breath of fresh air. It is a unique challenge to draw out one's personality without having them directly interact with someone else behind the camera. Being primarily a wedding photographer, I have my couples interact with one another to put them at ease and to document them as naturally as possible. With senior portraits, it is a different dynamic, but one that I enjoy.

I photographed Josh at Stony Creek Metro Park on a brisk, fall afternoon. He proudly displayed his Faith Christian Patriots varsity jacket as we talked about his plans for college. Josh showed his serious side, yet was able to share his sweet smile with the camera. And with that, I am looking forward to documenting more senior sessions in the future.

Congratulations Josh, best of luck in 2019!

Artfully,
