On a gorgeous fall day, Juliana and Mike said their vows before God, their family, and friends at Trinity Lutheran Church. As I was documenting their ceremony, I was reminded again about how love overcomes all obstacles. It doesn't matter if there is a pandemic, it's not stopping love. It doesn't matter if there are roadblocks and ever-changing plans, love persists. It doesn't matter what is happening, love always wins.
Like many couples, their plans changed, but their love for each other has remained steady through it all, if not strengthened by it all! I absolutely loved documenting them and even though I only captured their love for a few hours, it was filled with sentimental moments and lots of laughter.
Before their ceremony, Mike’s Dad pinned his boutonniere on him. This is a special moment to document at any wedding, but this moment was even more so. Before Mike’s mom passed away, she bought him a charm for his wedding day and it was such a sweet moment to see his Dad place it on him. While the day had other heartfelt moments, there was also lots of laughter. When Juliana opened Mike’s card she burst into laughter because it was the same card she got for Valentine’s Day and Mike even wrote it on the card. I smiled because I could see my husband doing the exact same thing!
Following their ceremony, we headed to Downtown Rochester to capture Juliana and Mike with their fun bridal party! Juliana loves the architecture in Rochester and while we only had a short time to document them there, it was the perfect scene to capture their sweet interactions, loud laughter, and quiet whispers. The leaves on the trees were just changing to vibrant colors as well so it was a beautiful setting!
Their wedding may be over, but the celebration of their love had just begun. I cannot wait to watch these two continue to build their life together!
