I took Inti and Dous on a tour of Detroit for their downtown engagement session. It was the last day of summer and a very balmy 80 degrees, which made for an enjoyable evening downtown. The city was quieter than usual and we played The Weeknd in the background as we started our session in Capitol Park. Inti said she was attracted to my photography because of the warmth and intimacy I capture, which is such a wonderful compliment to receive.
We stopped at Dessert Oasis Coffee Roasters before Inti and Dous did a quick outfit change and then we headed over to Campus Martius. Inti's second look incorporated a glam sparkly dress by a UK designer that was absolutely stunning! Inti wanted to have her Carrie Bradshaw in the city moment, and her outfit was perfect for it!
To conclude our time together, we stopped at The Townhouse for cocktails. Inti got a gin and juice while Dous ordered a Moscow mule. They shared a little about what they are looking forward to next, which is buying their dream home and planning a fun elopement to celebrate the next chapter of their love story together. I'll cheers to that!
