It was a fun day in St. Clair Shores for Marina and Nick's engagement session. If there's one thing to know about Marina and Nick, it's that they absolutely love dogs. They are both involved with the Paws For Life Rescue and are big animal lovers. They have four dogs of their own and love spending time at the beach, park or anywhere they can let the dogs run free to play.
We started their session at a friend's house that provided enough room for Marina and Nick's rambunctious pack to join them. It was a beautiful evening and the sky glowed a gradient of amber hues as the sun began to set. If you've ever tried to get a photo of your pet, you know how challenging it can be to get them to cooperate. To help control the chaos, I recommend having treats or a toy your pet loves to help get their attention. I also highly recommend having a friend to help when including pets in your photo session to step in to ensure things go smoothly. Marina and Nick had a friend help and actually used hot dogs for their treats, which worked like a charm.
Next, we headed to a private beach where the dogs were able to be free and play in the water. It was so cute to see everyone together having fun and soaking up the last sweet moments of summer. As we walked the beach, Marina and Nick shared what they are looking forward to most about their wedding and how excited they are to make it official. As a couple, they are both very go-with-the-flow and easy-going, which made our session feel like friends just catching up.
Marina and Nick will be tying the knot next September and I cannot wait to see all the love and excitement that unfolds!
