Avalon + Brent | Plymouth + Westland Wedding | Detroit Wedding Photographer

Having the opportunity to join Avalon and Brent for their wedding celebration was such an honor! If Avalon and Brent look familiar, it's because you saw them featured here on the blog when they had their intimate park ceremony last July due to their original wedding plans being postponed because of covid. Now, after almost a year, they were finally able to have the wedding day they hoped for and it was beautiful!

After getting ready at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Avalon shared a first look with her dad. You could just feel what a special moment it was for them. After sharing a few happy tears with her dad, it was time for the first look with Brent. Since they had a more casual ceremony last year, it was fun to document them seeing each other for the first time, all dressed up in their official wedding attire. First looks are often some of my favorite moments of the wedding day and are such beautiful moments to witness. Avalon and Brent were joined by their two maids of honor and two best men as we enjoyed the beautiful day in the sunshine capturing some moments before the ceremony.

The ceremony was officiated by Avalon's brother, Connor, who did a great job blending laughter and heartwarming moments. Avalon's talented sister-in-law, Birgitte, brought the reception room at Hellenic Cultural Center to life with beautiful decor and flowers, everything looked amazing! It was so special to see Avalon and Brent celebrate with all their family and friends this year dancing, laughing, and simply enjoying being together. Cheers to Avalon and Brent, three weddings, and a lifetime of love!
