Lilly and Nic's fall engagement session at Independence Oaks Park in Clarkston was refreshing for my soul. These two are a breath of fresh air. Nic is my brother-in-law and I was truly honored to document him and his fiancé, Lilly! It was the perfect fall day for their session, with a light crispness in the air, lots of warm sunshine, and the leaves were just beginning to change to beautiful golden tones with vibrant reds.
They've visited the park before, going on walks together and exploring the area. And that's just what we did for their engagement session! We revisited some favorite spots and found new gems to document them. As we explored the park, we talked about their wedding plans as well as the anticipation and excitement for that day! Like my husband and I, they are high-school sweethearts so they're ready to make things official!
As I mentioned, it was so refreshing to document them. Lilly and Nic are genuinely best friends and watching their love grow over the years has been amazing. They've grown through life and are truly supportive partners through everything life has thrown at them. They are a fun-loving, sweet couple so hanging out with them for the evening and documenting all their laughter and love was great!
I cannot wait to witness Lilly and Nic's wedding this summer and continue to watch their journey as best friends, soulmates, and soon-to-be spouses!
All my love,
