Morgan + Lucas | Fenton Winery & Brewery Wedding | Metro Detroit Wedding Photographer

Morgan and Lucas are some of the biggest beer fans I know! I learned at their engagement session that trying new breweries is one of their favorite hobbies and has become a tradition for them as a couple so, of course, their wedding takes us to Fenton Winery + Brewery. It is a cool venue and suited them perfectly!

The day started a bit rainy and gloomy but thankfully, the weather cleared up just in time for Morgan and Lucas' first look and outdoor ceremony.

While Lucas was preparing to see his bride with his groomsmen, Morgan got ready with her mom, sisters, and maid of honor. She was glowing and looking stunning in her lace top wedding dress. Morgan and Lucas exchanged letters to each other before they met for their first look. They were so excited to see each other and the beautiful flower wall mural made a great backdrop for this special moment. Their wedding party made sure they had a beer to kick off their day, which was so thoughtful. Lucas was so sweet assisting Morgan with her dress so it didn't get dirty as we ventured out and captured photos outside around the brewery. For their ceremony, it was the perfect fall wedding atmosphere. They lit a fire in the brick fireplace, which made everything feel so cozy and romantic. Their wedding ceremony was officiated by Morgan's cousin and Morgan's mom walked her down the aisle. After Morgan and Lucas exchanged vows, they headed inside and everyone enjoyed a delicious dinner together. Everyone raves about the food here and I can confirm, even the vegetarian option was delicious! Their cake was pumpkin, chocolate, and vanilla continuing their hints of fall throughout their day.

One of the special moments I loved from Morgan and Lucas' day was their dance with their grandmothers. They each danced with their grandmothers to "Can't Help Falling In Love." It was such a sweet moment to witness and I love how incorporating family was so important to them. Both the best man and maid of honor shared kind words about the couple which was equally heartwarming and hilarious. Aside from the traditional first dance and cake cutting together, Morgan and Lucas also shared a special wedding day toast out of their customized beer snifters made just for the occasion, and then it was time to hit the dance floor! Since Morgan and Lucas met in college, they have a lot of shared college friends that were reunited and able to celebrate together. Everyone had a great time dancing and mingling.
