Chelsea and Kaleb's engagement session started out at Boulder Pointe Golf Course in Oxford. They both love to golf so it was obvious that it was something we wanted to incorporate into their session. When I talked with them both beforehand and asked what they'd love for their engagement session, they both agreed that they just wanted to have fun! And so, that's exactly what we did!
We had a blast dodging balls and laughing at jokes on the course. A friendly couple passed by and even offered Chelsea and Kaleb some drinks. So naturally, we had a toast! Before we left the golf course, Chelsea and Kaleb tried to get a hole-in-one. Well, sort of. While Kaleb and Chelsea would never play this way, it was so fun to have them try putting one in together. I won't tell you how many times it took but when they finally got one in, it was a huge celebration!
Once we left the course, we headed over to Polly Ann Trail. Avoiding others walking on the trail, we found a little secluded path. They danced to Jack Johnson and Kaleb even found a wildflower to put into Chelsea's hair. It was a perfect ending to their session, or at least I thought.
When we were done, we passed by Frosty Boy and all agreed that ice cream was the best way to finish our session! So as they ordered their ice cream, I got my camera ready for a few more photographs. I am happy that they got ice cream because it was so cute to watch them interact playfully and enjoy their ice cream together. Afterwards, Kaleb said if the engagement session was this fun, he cannot wait for what the wedding will be like! I have to say, it filled my heart with joy! My intention is for my couples to have fun, be relaxed, and honestly enjoy the experience together!
I cannot wait for their wedding in May and I know it'll be even more fun and exciting!
All my love,
Chelsea and Kaleb were not planning on engagement photographs, but I am overjoyed that they did! It was a great way for us to get to know each other better before the wedding and now they have fun, casual photographs! I wrote a blog all about why you should plan on engagement photographs as well as tips/inspiration! You can check it out here!
